Now i am so sad. i just hope i can get better soon because Olympia is coming 7 more weeks and it will hurt me very bad if i can't do the show that i care so much about... I got some X-rays, not broken they say. So hopefully with faith a miracle will happen and i will be perfect for a good workout monday...

this is a picture of it this morning but now it's worst.. around the elbow. look there and visualize it 2 times bigger. not pretty lol

Last Thursday August 6 I fell on my right elbow. I was on the carpet looking up talking to Doodoowa and John they were on the second floor. i got tired so i decide to hold myself against the wall and when i touched my shoulders back to the wall the carpet just slipped and i fell like a rock....

Now it has been 4 days, still not able to do much with it still not looking good but i am only able to bend it 90 degrees but no strength

i got an x- ray. they say it's not fractured, but i need to go again tomorrow to see if i have something else.... of course i got something lol if i can't do nothing.

Now i still diet and do a little bit of cardio so if i get better i wont be fat just flat from not training ... why is this happening? I was so excited about getting ready again for the Olympia because again Hide is coming to stay with us again and we diet and train a lot together and make everything so much easier and fun.

Oh well we'll see what's in store for me. Good news or bad news?

No it doesn't.

Soon it will be 4 weeks out, if not healed she will drop out of the Ms Olympia.

I fell a couple of years ago during the winter .I had an xray also told me it was fine turned out to be a partial tear to my tricep. Looked very much like yours. By the time they figured it out to late for surgery. I am still not a 100 percent. Tell them you want a MRI so you can get it fixed befor its to late!!

Wow. Hope it's nothing serious, but like Tracy just wrote, she needs to get an MRI, not just the x-ray. Hope she's also icing it often. Wishing you a speed healing Cathy!

What a bummer. I sure hope it's not too bad of an injury, but it sure doesn't sound/look good.

Wow, I hope everything works out for her!!! I'm not sure she's a member here or not. Sioux, can you send her a message about the MRI just in case!! I'd hate for it to be something serious and she's loosing valuable time due to the wrong diagnosis!

Hope you feel better and I hope it will heal soon, I too suffered an injury earlier this past July towards mid July I had dislocated my elbow and it was swollen pretty bad. Lucky for me I did not tear anything but had a very badly strained tendon and could not lift anything so I just concentrated on lower body and cardio it took nearly 6 weeks and here we are in August. It feels much better and I just started using arm this past week, so hopefully YOU WILL BE GOOD TO GO, SENDING MY PRAYERS AND WARM WISHES TO YOU THAT YOU HAVE A SPEEDY RECOVERY.

Wow, that really sucks.

I really hope you recover soon so that it wont come to you needing to drop out of the Olympia. Good luck with this next doctor!

Tracy & Beni brought the goods to this thread when they detailed their tendon injuries. A shot to the elbow as described above with no bone-break would likely not still be hurting and limiting range of motion this way.

I talked to Shawn Ray yesterday and Cathy is doing a radio inteview today for a Olympia special alongwith myself. I know Cathy wants to do this vey bad and she is going to annonce what he is doing on the show today which is prerecorded. I think Cathy will pull through and continue on. I do know several girls who hve had this happen and it takes them a few weeks to recover. It got so bad for them that they couldn't train or lift anyting for weeks
