This show is a first, but it is at the same venue the Sacramento has been at for a number of years.

No disrespect to "Bare Your Tan" company however, Maximum Tanning is the OFFICIAL tanning sponser for the Governors Cup. Meaning they Paid the promoters for this event. No OTHER tanning company will be allowed backstage for touch ups, bite ect..The promoter is aware of other companies trying to sneak around and if caught at the host hotel or the venue they will be kicked out.. I would hate to see competitors left hanging after all their hard work with no tan. I wanted to make sure anyone who is planning to compete is aware of this!!

On a brighter note, Hi Jason!!! My contract is in and I can't wait! really looking forward to hanging with all the beautiful ladies!!

First off...The ladies were absolutely gorgeous!! Hands down to ALL of them!!

I do have to admit tho that I was a little disappointed with the judging. I was hoping the criteria was a little more focused on conditioning as well as a femanine, pleasing, balanced physique because this IS suppose to be a division that is INBETWEEN Figure & FBB. There has been a lot of discussion regarding this and I do realize there needs to be a clear distinction between this new WP division & FBB but there ALSO needs to be a clear distinction between WP and Figure... I am hoping that as the competitions bring out new competitors the standard ideal will evolve properly...

Thanks Valerie! It does sound like most competitors would like to see physique harder, as well as the fans. One show at a time, so we'll see what happens in St Louis next.

I couldn't agree more with Val.... I don't know what they are looking for. Hopefully they will change there standards for a harder/slight bigger physique. Confused?

I agree, definetly an interesting outcome, excited about this new division and to watch as it develops this year!

on a side note in regards to tanning: Jan-tana on there site is promoting being at the Governers Cup as well and says they will be back stage, i have booked with them...now wondering...?
