The host hotel is approximately 1.5 miles from the venue. We have done some research of hotels in the immediate area (within 2-3 miles) that would include 1 and 2 bedroom suites that can sleep 6 (has a sofa sleeper) with full kitchens, 800 to 1252 Sq feet for about the same price as the host hotel cost.
We are staying at the Marriott Grand Chateau just a half block off the strip about 2 miles from the event. The Marriott has a Skybar and rooftop pool with a view of the strip...
If you would like a list of the hotels in the immediate area, give a shout.
