2011 Arizona NPC Shows

Okay, let's make this official...

Who's attending any of these two shows next month?

July 16th - Terminator
Fox Theater -
17 W. Congress St.
Tucson AZ
Prejudging at 10 am
Finals at 6 pm

July 23rd - AZ Open [NQ]
Mesa Arts Center
1 East Main St.
Mesa AZ 85211
Prejudging at 10 am
Finals at 6 pm

I'm doing both shows and will be doing Junior Masters & Open on both. Who's in it with me?

Man, that show was so fun last year!! They really do great shows out there! I'm going to unfortunately miss them this year though.

I will be doing the Tucson show!!! Since it's in my backyard, I gotta represent!!! Today marks 6 weeks out!!!

Now, if I can just find a place to hide Ana...ummm...I mean...a place for her to "rest & relax" while our class goes on stage....I will have one less fierce competitor to worry about!

I did fitness and figure last year... so not sure which I will do this time...

Even though I have family in Tucson I'm staying at a hotel. I just don't want to bug everybody in the morning when I'm getting ready and with my food. I also want to have a place where I can rest before finals. I'm not staying at the hotel they're recommending though. It looks awful and it doesn't have a fridge or microwave. All I can think when I see the photos and reviews is bedbugs

I have never competed, but I am doing my first show on September 10 in Arizona here

I'm doing Bikini! I'm hoping that is a good first show to do!! I'm in Glendale right now...I'm moving to Lake Havisu for my next rotation in August, but I feel like it isn't that far of a drive

I'm trying to go to a bunch of shows right now to see what they are like...I might also go to the show here to watch on the 23rd also! Do you know if either of shows you are competing in is bigger/better? Or are they about the same?

Well the one in Tucson is new and is a non national qualifier so I expect it to be much smaller than the one in Mesa. I'm doing the 23rd one too (same categories) and last year that show had over 200 competitors! It was huge! Is the one in September an NPC one?

You could also look into competing in the November one in Mesa (same location as the one on the 23rd).
