Hello all. This young lady is three weeks out. Still about 5 pounds from comp weight! Routine is getting better and is coming around. Trust me when I tell you she will be a serious contender in the year to come. This will be only her second competition!!! Give her some props!!!!!

Thats right! She will be at the Ironman in Chicago next weekend! She will be doing Fitness at that show! Nationals will have to be Figure. She will be qualified for both! Darn.........

She looks awesome, couples things to watch out for, she needs to hold her L and V longer and keep her feet up higher so it's obvious they are off the ground and the one thing she might be told (which I do as well) less gymnastics and more strength. She is obviously x gymnast/cheerleader, it shows, but they are trying hard to minimize the amount of gymnastics done so that people who have never been a gymnast don't shy away from fitness. My last two shows that's what I've been told at least. But she should do well.
Nice job, good luck!!!

Yes we are aware of the fact she needs to hold both the L and V a tad longer. Its a work in progress for her. As mentioned, this Saturday at the Ironman will be her first Fitness show. She will have it work out by then. Thanks for your input its appreciated. I will respectfully disagree with the fact that she should do less gymnastics's. Its her strength so we will exploit it. I as well understand what the judges would like to see and we feel that this strength best suits her! In the end, its what she likes that counts!!

Awww she is just SUPER cute!!!

Great job, especially for being so new to the sport! She has a lot of energy and charisma and a bright future!!!

When she moves up to the national level, be sure those mandatories are strong and polished! If there is any one in particular that is giving her trouble, feel free to pm me...I've got tons of drills I'd be willing to share!

Best of luck to you guys and keep me posted on how she does!

I agree, I'm an x gymnast as well and enjoy tumbling, I was sadden when I heard I scored lower because I had too much... it was my strength so I thought to show it off...
She will do well!

To everyone who commented on the routine, thanks for all of the support and ideas. I greatly appreciate the contructive criticism!!! I am a new member to Sioux Country but I wanted to say thanks already for all of the support and guidance and a big thanks to Jack and Ann Titone who have been an amazing support system through out this process. I am so excited about the future of NPC fitness and working with Jack and Ann to make continued improvements to my routine and figure. Thanks to all and I hope to meet everyone at future competitions!!!
