I'm wondering what's up with jacking one leg out to the side in the front pose. I realize you can play around with your model turns, but I thought the quarter turns were pretty set in stone.

We were talking about the anklets in callout threads this AM! I admire her for being her and rocking her own style....but, I am really surprised that it isn't so distracting to the judges that she's not getting marked down. She has a great physique but eyes keep getting stuck at her feet!

At first you think the photog is just catching her in transition....but now it does seem like she's doing that on purpose.

Excuse anything I say that is too "brash". I love everyone, and Yenny is no exception. I just am a purest, and I don't like people messing with the quarter turns. Not to mention, I'm a little irritated at the loss of Fitness mandatories.
On top of that, I just got a 2 hr. massage and I feel stoned outta my mind. Woot freakin woot.

interesting. I thought the same thing and in her defense thought the photog caught her in transition, but in her individual posing from team u she did the same thing..

It almost looks borderline bodybuilding stance. But she really doesn't need to tweak anything- she's got GREAT legs just standing normal as she did in the Team U overall pose! At least that's my personal opinion! =)

Yeah...it looks like that is how she was taught to pose...it almost looks like it's natural....maybe that's from all of her years competing in other orgs.

Sandy was the head judge at TU and she has no problem yelling at you on stage...so apparently they feel her posing isn't to far off the mark.
Maybe Yenny is self conscious about her anklets or something, but apparently even w/ the bracelets the judges are saying here physique where they want it if she's getting first callouts. I look at the anklets as accessories....if they start marking down for that they'll start saying ppl's earrings are too big, etc.

I agree...I just think someone needs to reassure her that her legs proportioned to her upper physique and she really doesn't need to hide her ankles or standing w/ a leg cocked to the side.

I truly like Erin and I would loooove to see her winning this show, IMO best. Although one thing bothers me - a bit skinny looking legs as she has so good development in back.. but IMO best in this line up!

As for me, I like some thick/built tree trunks! =) More of what they previously rewarded (the Monica Brant look). But they seemed to have gone away from that. I would love to see the figure move back up to rewarding some more muscularity, but I have to give it to Erin! She looks beautiful! As all those ladies do!! Not to mention a beautiful Tamee suit! ;)

Unless I fell asleep in the audience, there actually wasn't a men's portion to this show.

i just had my friend here tell me he was doing a show in Florida this weekend, he flew out from Okinawa to compete..so I checked the NPC Florida website and it said there was a show on the 10th/11th and it was this one...so just assumed that was it.....hmmmmmmmm....anyone know if there were any other shows in Florida? (txs Erik and I'm sure you weren't sleeping LOL)

This is how Yenny poses from all the years of competing at Pro level in Natural Feds. And her anklets are just a symbol of her personality. She's been wearing them and posing that way since forever. She has a great physique though and I was glad to see her be able to transition so well into IFBB.

yenny has done 45 shows in 4 years, and many were not with our sanction because she simply felt that she may not win at our shows given the natural look (un-drugged) that she was under the impression was unheard of with npc. now that she sees that she can compete in these shows with her physique as is (drug-free) she has disclosed that her preference has always been to be with the ifbb, yet she felt she was going to be unable to compete well in our sanction. now, she is committed to making her life's goals happen with the ifbb ONLY and she is still learning and happy to do so, so that she can continue to do well in this sanction exclusively. as she stated, "there is no federation as prestigious as the ifbb..." and she's right! :) i had many opportunities to interact with her backstage as well as at breakfast this a.m. and this woman is sheer grace and warmth in her presence. i enjoyed everyone last night, but ya know how some people just really stand out to ya? yenny is one of those people. she is beautiful inside and out and i cannot say a bad word about her radiant spirit or her gorgeous bod!!! she's an ifbb pro, and who cares how anyone does whatever? in the end, it just goes down how it does, and we are in a position as athletes and ROLE MODELS representing our sanction to be simply gracious in our rhetoric about our field that we CHOOSE to compete in AND the results we experience. suck it up, shut it up, and run it up. if anyone has words about a fellow athlete, let them state it beside her on that stage in competition, with the poise, strength, grace and fashionable presence of an IFBB LADY. the stage is where you put it out there, so own that stuff and put it down on stage!!!

Sorry, wasn't meaning to sound malicious or anything with that comment. I think the ankle bracelets are cool, I just didn't get why she was standing that way when I was always under the impression that during comparisons, there's a uniform stance so everyone can be judged accordingly. This wasn't a knock on her physique, or her as a person. She's beautiful, has a beautiful physique, and I hear she has killer routines. Sorry if that came off wrong.

i feel ya on that girlie!!! it's gotta be fun, and dont you looooove it when the fans come and love on ya for the great fun they have watching you?? THAT is the best trophy i swear... remember that year natalie the hot figure chic got 2nd at the usa's and everyone loved her body so much they thought she should win? no one could have cared less about the girl who won... no one ever saw her again, and who cares?! no one remembers her... EVERYONE LOOOOOOVED NATALIE though and she was surrounded by fans and accolades on her hard work on sculpting that gorgeous bod! she was the true champion, and the fans let her know... that's always how it goes down... girls just wanna, just gotta, just oughtta have fun, right? you're rockin it chica!!! i had a fun as heck weekend, and i hope to hear more fun stuff and see more of my homegirls again soon!!!
