Protein Chocolate Brownie
1-2 scoops of Chocolate Whey Protein
1/2 tsp of baking powder
1 tbsp of Jell-o Sugar Free Chocolate Fudge pudding
1/3c of water

Mix all the ingredients together in a microwave safe bowl. Once the ingredients are blended and batter like you can add other things to it (nuts etc.). Once prepared, 60-75 seconds in the microwave. It'll rise in the microwave, making a nice sized brownie. Let it cool if you'd like to add a sugar free topping.

The thinner stuff just turns out more like a crepe :) Still YUMMY though!

So its still pretty good!!! I am currently using all of Pro-Labs line of proteins and I have the Vitamin Shoppe whey tech 24 as well which is thicker.

Bakin powder not soda :o

Depending on the brand protein too sometimes you can only cook it at 50% power FYI

I make these all the time (without the SF pudding)....you only need a little water...like the consistency of pudding then I nuke it about 1m 30secs....

My recipe
2 scoops ALL THE WHEY protein powder
2T liquid eggs whites
baking soda - about 1/8t
then water to make like a pudding consistency
use a tupperware that measures 4in X 6 in

This is also good if traveling/working...cuz you can put all the ingredients in a ziploc baggie (using powdered egg whites)

then top with Walden farms maple syrup and marshmallow dip! Its like a chocolate cake with frosting!!

Did anyone have an issue with these coming out rubbery?? If so, how did you fix it? I've tried making muffins, pancakes, and these brownies and it always turns out rubbery!!!!!

What kind of pp are you using?

A few other additives you can put in it...
Unsweetened Cocoa Powder and a TBS or two of Natural Applesauce.
The applesauce will make it really moist... takes the place of oil in regular cakes.
The Cocoa Powder is actually a good carb if you get the unsweetened natural stuff.
I can't eat these on my contest prep either, but they're great in the off-season!

I'm using MRM Iso-Bolic. They turn out so rubbery it literally squeeks when I take a bite! My hubby uses Optimum Nutrition, so maybe I will try that. :o

Yeah, some powders are good for baking, others.........not so much. I use Optimum Nutrition sugar cookie or cake batter as the base in almost all of the protein muffins I bake, and I tried this brownie recipe with both my chocolate coconute and chocolate mint flavors - delish!! The applesauce is a good tip, esp if you're in an off-season.

OH YUM! The sugar cookie and cake batter flavors sound absolutely delish! I think my hubby uses mocha cappuccino, but since ON seems to work well I will try that. Thanks! :awesome:

Ok, I tried this with my hubby's ON protein and it turned out just fine! I might get some of the cake batter or rocky road flavor to try, too! Also, instead of adding the chocolate pudding mix I added a small teaspoon of Walden Farms chocolate dip. Yum!:D

Glad it came out yummy!! I am an OH snob - their rocky road is really good!! Their chocolate mint is probably my fave (as a shake alone), and then the sugar cookie and cake batter, as I said, are good for baking (pancakes, muffins, cookies, etc). Their vanilla chai is good, too, if you like chai stuff. Man..........I need to get a sponsorship, hhahaha!:p
