Hi, for those of you in the Denver metro area, here is a great event this Saturday:
Fitness Fiesta Showcases Figure/Bikini Competition, Junior Fitness, “Hot Mama” and “Fittest Couple” Competitions
Fun, Family-Friendly Event Centers on Fitness and Self-Confidence!
What: Mark your calendars for a fun and inspiring event: the 7th annual Carla Sanchez Fitness Fiesta, a fitness and figure competition, is coming up! The event is geared toward families, as the stars of the show are always the Junior Fitness competitors—youth who compete in four different categories: ages 6 and under, 7-10, 11-14 and 15-19. In addition to this category, there are several women’s fitness and figure categories and men’s fitness categories. A “hot mama” and “fittest couple” will be chosen. Winners will be featured on www.BodySport.com and will receive a myriad of prizes including a photo shoot. In addition, a fitness expo will include displays and a marketplace of fitness apparel, supplements, competition wear and skincare products.
Who: Carla Sanchez, C.S.C.S. (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) and IFBB (International Federation of Body Builders) Pro, is the mastermind behind this fun event. A former Denver Broncos cheerleader, personal trainer and three-time recipient of the Colorado NPC Trainer of the Year award, Sanchez owns Performance Ready, one of the nation’s top fitness and figure competitive teams. She coaches and advises each Performance Ready team member through individualized training programs, diet planning, pre-contest preparation and ongoing team workouts, camps and seminars. Approximately 50 participants will compete.
When: Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 6 p.m.
Where: Colorado Heights University Theater at Teikyo Loretto Heights University, 3001 S. Federal Blvd., Denver
How: General admission tickets are $20 per person and can be purchased the morning of the show, beginning at 10 a.m., at Teikyo Loretto Heights; however, pre-show tickets are recommended, and can be purchased online at www.jefftaylor.com. Premium seats are available for $35 per person.
