Hey everyone! I am thinking instead of my usual stair sprint workout 3x a week that once a week I'd like to incorporate a track w/o since I will already be there with my daughter (who's running her first year of summer track with USATF.:o )

I am thinking of starting slowly and ramping up with something like this:
( I am 20 weeks out now...)

10 x 60m with 60s rest then every 2 weeks bump up 10m until I get to 10x100... then keep it there and just bump up the # of sprints to 15 until the show...

Any other suggestions?

hey girl :waving:

what show are you doing?

we used to walk the straightaways..then sprint the curves... for a few miles....but what you have in mind sounds like a solid plan as well.

just an idea :o

Hey! I'm doing Team U....
That sounds like an idea, thanks...although, I have a tendency towards clumsiness and with my goofy ankles it may be safer for me to sprint the straights. :p

With the number of girls at TU, I'm going to estimate only 300 in our class compared to the usual 475. :D
