An update on Carla Salotti *Carla's Mother passed away*

Many of you may have noticed her missing from the boards for the last few months.

Carla wanted me to inform you all what is going on.

A MySpace Bulletin:

Hello all my myspace freinds.

I wanted to let you all know that I have not been on myspace recently or even on the boards lately because I have been caring for my mother who has been in and out of the hospital 3 times since January 5th. WE are now at her home with hospice services and hoping to keep her comfortable, happy and surrounded by family and friends. As we know...we don't choose our family but often our freinds ARE our families!!!

Thank you to all of you have already wished us well and prayed for strength a nd many thanks to those of you who will do so now. This is an experience that one can NEVER be ready for but I know it is a part of life. I just hope and pray to be the best daughter to my mother that I can be.
Please don't stop visiting me here or on my site at carlasalotti.com.

I will be back and appreciate all the thoguhts and prayers from you all now!

This is very sad. Carla and her mom are very close, and I know she's having a tough time. :(

Our thoughts are definitely with her.

awe tell her I am thinking of her and she and her family are in my prayers. I lost my mother at 26 and it's a hard day everyday. My heart goes out to her.

I talked to Carla this morning. She's at her parents house and doing OK given everything that's going on.

Her mom is stable right now, and Carla's trying to get things sorted at the house and get into a semi-routine with things for the time being. Her friend Nikki came out this week and surprised her (many of you know Nikki as a Protan girl backstage...love her!!), so she's got company this week and is getting out of the house a little here and there.

It's a tough time, but Carla is staying strong as she always does. She appreciates everyone's thoughts and prayers, and she said she'll stop by the boards and check in as she has time.

I just wanted to let all my MySpace friends know that my Mom has passed home to God today. Her long journey getting there is finally over and she is finally at peace...so am I. I want to thank you all for ALL the thoughts, prayers and positive energy that you have given me all these months...it is truly overwhelming to me. Thanks you so much.
