Nicole qualified for the Ms Fitness Olympia last weekend. The 2008 IFBB New York Fitness Pro was her very first pro fitness show!:respect:

Congrats on the Olympia birth that is awesome! You seem to own New York. How did it feel competing in NYC again?

I love New York! I felt great going into the show. I was tighter than at the Arnold and I was confident with my routines. I knew after finishing the two minute routine that the show could not have gone any better in my mind. To say that Nicole has a bright future ahead of her is an understatement. I mean, when you become a pro by winning overall fitness and figure titles on the SAME NIGHT, you're destined for great things.

Can you imagine her competitng in both the Fitness and Figure Olympia? Can that be allowed, assuming she wins a Figure O qualification between now and September?

Nicole Wilkins in her pro fitness debut proved she will be successful in both aspects of IFBB Fitness & Figure. I realize she didn’t place well in her pro figure debut at the Arnold, but look at her Round 1 & 2 scores here. Those are the physique scores. I don’t think I’ll be going out on a limb to say she will get a Figure Olympia qualifying placing in the upcoming Pittsburgh Pro Figure. So the girl is for real. Nicole has already made improvements all around since she last stepped on this stage to make NPC history. So now she’s already qualified now for the Fitness Olympia. The question will then be… which contest does she enter in Las Vegas?

Wow Pro of the Week! What an honor! Thank you all for being so supportive. I am finally back in the groove after this weekend. We drove to PA so we got home Sunday around 5pm. We stopped at Bob Evans for breakfast on the way. They have this amazing banana bread that reminds me of my grandma :D
This weekend was so much fun. I met so many awesome girls backstage and as usual, everyone looked great.
So now, I have 14 weeks until the Powerhouse Pro which is right in my backyard. There is only one way to go from 2nd and I am going to work my A$$ off to get it- :awesome:

New IFBB star Nicole Wilkins has already had an incredible season. After debuting at the Arnold Classic in figure she went on to place 3rd at the New York Pro Fitness in April qualifying her for the 2008 Fitness Olympia. Not satisfied with that, the following month Nicole placed 2nd at the Pittsburgh Pro Figure and qualified for the Figure Olympia as well. None of this should come as too much of a surprise. Last year at Team Universe Nicole won the overall in both fitness and figure in earning her professional status.

This month things keep rolling along just fine for her as she is featured in Flex Magazine's Bodyshop with a full interview and pictures by Bodysport's own Terry Goodlad. Check out the July issue and learn more about this truly talented young lady. It may be quite awhile before the Wilkins express comes to a full stop!

It was more of an adventure trip with horseback riding, hiking, climbing Mayan temples in Tikal, zip-lining, canoeing etc. Our room had electricity, but we only had lights and a fan. There was no phone, tv, radio, or clock. It was very peaceful and since we were in the rainforest our cellphones didn't work. It was so beautiful though. We saw tucans along with many other animals and the flowers there were like nothing you see in the states. Now it is back to work and I am hoping to get an invite to the Arnold. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

I attended the Arnold this year and just love to watch you on stage! You are absolutely gorgeous and so talented. I was a little dissapointed with your placing....but this year....I think no one could really figure out what the judges were looking for.

It was so cool for me to see you compete in person since I am such a huge fan :)

I saw you standing outside with your family after the finals and wanted to come up and meet you and introduce myself but I thought you probably were tired and wanted to leave to get some rest after all of your hard work. All I kept talking about the whole trip was, "I hope I see Nicole so I can meet her in person" Then I was kicking myself thinking....."she was right there dummy!" hahaha....I missed my chance.

It was just so neat and motivating to be amongst all of my favorite pro's who I totally idolize. I think I told you in a previous post that seeing you in the magazine's were what got me to finally send in my paperwork to compete. I guess maybe next time.....

Figure Olympia winner adds to her list of recent accomplishments

Nicole Wilkins-Lee, one of the fastest rising stars in the IFBB Pro League, signed an exclusive contract with Weider Publications on Wednesday. The signing caps a banner year for the 25-year-old Wilkins-Lee, who recently won the Figure Olympia in Las Vegas in just her second year in the professional ranks.

“I’m honored to be a part of such an amazing team,” Wilkins-Lee said. “I’m really excited to help bring more knowledge about figure to a wider audience and be a good representative for the sport.”

With her victory in Las Vegas on September 26, Wilkins-Lee became the youngest competitor in history to win the Figure Olympia. She also grabbed top honors at the Europa Show of Champions in April and at the New York Pro Figure Championships on September 19. Off the stage, Wilkins-Lee was featured on the cover of the 2009 FLEX Swimsuit Issue.

“This year has been amazing,” she said. “I just took each show and tried my best. I felt very optimistic every time I went out and couldn’t have asked for anything to go any better. It went exactly how I had hoped and I’m really excited about what’s going to happen in the next few years.”

In the immediate future, Wilkins-Lee won’t be satisfied to rest on her recent string of successes. She recently announced her intentions to compete in the Figure International on March 6, 2010.

“I feel like I’m on a winning streak so I want to keep that streak going,” she said. “I’m at the top of the sport and I want to stay there. I’m extremely motivated and focused.”

Everytime I step on a cardio machine, I take a picture of NWL..that girl is AMAZING!!! So glad she won this year...she brought a lovely blend of size and fullness to the stage :)
