Here are my fearless predictions for the Tampa pro show -- my top 5:

5. Betty Pariso: strengths: good bodybuilder's physique, height
weakness: old age
bottom line: politics, politics, politics will "earn" her a place
in top 5

4. Klaudia Larson: strengths: beautiful, excellent symmety, good proportions,
always comes in top notch condition
weakness: chest/pectorals, not enough size
bottom line: Klaudia will place high based on beauty,
symmetry, and conditioning, but flaws in her
upper body will keep her out of the top 3

3. Angela Salvagno: strengths: pretty, excellent symmetry, excellent
proportions, excellent conditioning, height
weakness: none
bottom line: angela is looking spectacular at this time,
probably the best shape of her life. She is
pretty obviously, but her two main
competitors are gorgeous, and I think that
will ultimately keep her out of the top 2

2. Nicole Ball: strengths: impossibly beautiful, excellent symmetry,
excellent proportions, excellent
conditioning
weakness: not enough size
bottom line: the returning champion faces far stiffer
competition this year. If she shows up in similar
condition to last year, I think she finishes top
three based on her incredible good looks and her
her amazing symmetry/proportions. But she MUST
come in with more size if she expects to retain
her title.

1. Tina Chandler: strengths: beautiful, excellent symmetry, excellent
proprotions, excellent conditioning, impressive
size
weakness: none
bottom line: I've seen recent video of Chandler as she
prepares for this contest, and she looks
unbelievable. I think she can match Nicole and
Angela in every department including physiqcal
beauty; where she has them beat is size --
this after all is a BODYBUILDING competiton
and size must count for something.

Should be interesting -- cant wait for Saturday!

perhaps not the prettiest but I trust Gale Frankie will bring her full and symmetrical muscle bellies to the stage which hopefully bring her a top 5 finish. Afterall it is a bodyBUILDING contest..nuff said

I agree with Michelle.
Even if Tina Chandler is probably (on the paper) the best athlete of the line-up she might not get a top 3. Remember last year...
I guess Nicole Ball has the required physical abilities to win this contest.

I have to disagree that nicole and angela have no weakness both need quad size

Based on the video and pics I've seen of today's press conference, I'm sticking with those picks -- only change I'd make is switching Salvagno with Ball -- Ball appears to have the brought the same physique as last year, while Salvagno is in the shape of her career.

Havne't had a chance to check much out but I hope everyone does well. Particularly Tina Chandler since it sounds like she's looking ON! Wish I could be there!

R u an IFBB Judge?

I think Nicole will win this one again. By the way. I think its insulting that you say Betty Parisos weakness is old age. By far Betty is one the th BEST bodybuilders out there. I have so much respect for this women because she is doing what she loves. Don't knock her on age. Age is just a number. I hope when I am he age I will still be competing.

Definitely an insult. FYI.....women get better with age in this sport anyway. Muscle maturity....but OLD AGE? pfft

no disrespect intended but what was with nicole ball's posing in her rear poses with her glutes all sucked in forward and back rounded. it made her waist look wider and IMHO did not present her physique in a flattering way. it was a new thing for her this year i think, i've seen a couple of D.P.'s clients pose like this so maybe this is one of his recommendations?

as far as judging, i'm sure the judges did the best they could based on the HUGE disparity and differences between competitors. anyone have a score sheet?

is anyone really sure that she is still with Dave? I heard rumors that say otherwise, but again only hearsay.

And back to Khuddle....i want to know too.... are you an IFBB judge? Having opinions are fine but to say that you know it's politics takes it too far, unless you have insider info and proof. I doubt Betty would appreciate those remarks. I know I don't.

This doesn't look like Dave's diet.........

Athletes are looked down upon if they show unsportsmanlike conduct, what about fans of the sport who show lack of respect?

Bottom line we can debate placings here, but lets keep it respectful.
