How much red meat do you eat on your prep? How about off-season?
LOL! Funny you posted this, because I am eating red meat right now, 6 days out from the Emerald Cup:)...I will cut it out tomorrow & go with ground turkey patties...I will probably have more on Thursday & Friday again...it will be interesting to see what others are doing...

im in full swing offseason and i actually have it 2x a day everyday!!
keeps me FULL and looking beefy!:) No pun intended ;)
I've also been including it at least once a day this offseason (at least here recently) and I am really enjoying it!!
Definitely keeps you fuller longer, and I'll be eating enough chicken here in the coming weeks ahead anyways!! :)

My current prep doesn't have any red meat. I tried red meat during my last prep for about 3 weeks, but it was quickly dropped from the diet when I didn't loose any weight.

Off-season ALOT.
During prep, I would say that I eat it once or twice a week - lean cuts only - until I am about 6 weeks out, and then I use it for cheat meals and for loading up before the show, and I have a fattier cut like a sirloin or a filet...MMMMMMmmmmmmmm.....

I'm about 10 weeks out, and am eating it daily (once). I stick to flank steak as much as possible, but the store in our little podunk town doesn't always have it. When they're out, I opt for the lean ground buffalo. So far, I haven't had any probs losing weight . . . as time gets closer I may have to cut out the beef. We'll see :)

... on IF it is on sale that particular week. Off-season I ate as much as 5-8oz svgs and 1-4oz svg PER Day. Pretty much 93-96% lean ground beef or some NY Strip steaks.
But 3-4 days per week was average I guess.
Same goes for contest prep - grocery circulars rule. But, I try to limit to maybe 2-3 servings ofr 2-3 days that week.
I LUV red meat! How ever did I abandon it for vegeterainism for 8 years and 8 months???
I started eating it again July 2006 - as a desperate attempt to gain SOME muscle for '06 USA competition. Got 6th (tied for 5th) in my class. ;)

Whenever I want, cost prohibiting. I like getting 96% lean ground beef, london broil and bison steaks.
