Thanks Andrea! :D No matter what, it was still worth the sweat, fish, asparagus, chicken, yams, early to bed, early to rise, no tv, etc....to get there and finish what I started. Mike gave me huge compliments and Julie was encouraging.
These ladies looked amazing. I'll tell ya, sometimes pictures just don't do it. Seeing them live and how well conditioned they are, just wonderful.

No, I didn't Shel. You know it was so late by the time everything was over...we didn't step on stage until after 8:30 p.m. By the time everything was done it was about 10 p.m. and we were exhausted. I just wanted to get home and unwind. It was a very long day.

Lisa, you are so funny. I met you yesterday too when we all ran into the little room to change suits. As tiny as you are, wow, hmm, you might have to blend all those foods into a shake lol.

Hi Roe, Thanks for chiming in. I definitely will continue to train the way I do always...I'm not changing at thing. I got into Figure in the first place because I wanted to aspire to a higher level of fitness for myself which I have accomplished. I know what improvements I need to make and I will continue to work towards that goal.

I was utterly drained by the time it was over as well -- we all were! It's worse for you guys that you have to travel longer. I'm glad you got home safe.

As for Fernando (LOL!) he's very blunt and says what he feels. haha! He played Pro Soccer overseas, so he's naturally highly competitive as it is. We both disagreed with the callouts in Class A.

Oh I forgot to add this: I think he would be the first one to tell me to hang up my competition shoes. LOL!!!

As he is the one to support me throughtout my prep, and deal with the good and bad, he could probably do without the bad like the little time that I have sometimes to do anything, or my energy level being low often during prep, THE MOODINESS, etc. I've tried my best during this prep to minimize any moodiness because I made the choice to compete, and not his problem. Of course, if I want to try again he will be there to support me.

Like you with Lisa, he is also extremely supportive!! I'm grateful for that and I do count my blessings! ;)

Well, after some consideration, I've decided to do the Excalibur in two weeks. I've dieted, bought new suits, etc. so I figure why not. I'm keeping a low profile from friends, etc. I wouldn't want them to be disappointed again...if it goes that route. I'm back in the bandwagon!

I tried to have wine too but I got a stomach ache immediately so she had no trouble finishing that for me! Then I decided to do this next show, so that took care of any thoughts of giving in to my cravings. I was doing the BodyRock a few weeks later, so I couldn't pigout lol, but I had this dish that was just like a philly cheese steak but with chicken (minus the bread too), but tried some corn bread and I couldn't resist their off the wall chillie. It's a little intimidating when you see the place from outside cause it's a biker hangout. It was cool though! We have one here in the city, in Harlem I think. I heard their peacan pie is the sh*t!
