Hi MarieAnn! :waving:
Welcome to my new board. I plan to create a Jr USAs forum in a month. Feel free to share with us your prep in our training journal forum.
MarieAnn is a masters figure competitor, who last competed at the 2007 IFBB North American... LINK (http://www.musculardevelopment.com/browse/index.php?mode=browse&id=13391&eventcode=1176)

Thanks for the warm welcome and the kind words everyone. SC, I will look forward to the Jr. USA thread. I really like to meet fellow competitors and this will be a great place to break the ice. I am really psyched about 08'. My husband is my trainer and workout partner and we have made some nice gains over the off season and I think I have a better plan for my diet to allow come in alot sharper this year. At last years North American I only dieted for 7 weeks and I had a badly sprained ankle which limited my cardio and plyo. So hopefully you will see a better package this time out.

Hey Lori!! Not something else we have in common. LOLOLOL I am glad to see you here and I can't wait to meet you at the Jr. USA's.
Bree, I will be in class E. I am just a hair under 5'6". You look great by the way. Jim and I went to Charleston last weekend and had a great time. The Embassy Suites that will be the host hotel for the Jr. USA's is right next to the building where the show is held. It may even be connected. There is also a new Outlet mall built next door that you can easily walk to if any of you are the shopping type.
I asked my husband Jim to join the board. He is a great trainer and has a wonderful eye for figure. Since we are a team I felt that you guys should get to know him as well.

Hello everyone. I am Jim Newman. MarieAnn's husband. I wanted to introduce myself so I just hijacked Mo's thread.
This looks like a really nice board. I am so glad that you guys have a board that you can chat and share info on and not have to wade thru all the other STUFF that goes on with most boards. Hats off to you Siouxcountry for taking such an interest in the sport.
I'll try to stay out of the way most of the time. I actually have more time than Mo does so if I answer a question for Mo I will identify myself. LOL
I hope to get to meet alot of you at the shows this year. I have just gotten in to photography a bit so hopefully we can get some pics of all of you.

Hi Jim! :waving:
Welcome to our board. Please do share your future pics of the Jr USAs with us. I have a feeling many here will be competing in Charleston. :)
And no need to stay out of the way, we want to read your opinion on various topics.
Welcome to BOTH of you. Nice to see you here.
MO you look so familiar to me. What all did you do last year???
I totally loved the Jr USA last year. The set up was wonderful. Hotel and venue all together. Hotel suite rooms so much more space and more at home. And for those not prepping...happy hour everynight for a couple of hours and buffet breakfast each morning. I couldn't wait for my buffet breakfast. LOL That is if they are doing it where they always do.

Yes it really is. Not much open though for after the show eating out. There is a Mexican food rest. down the street within walking that stays open but there wasn't much more.

Thanks Ondrea and to everyone else also. I really like this board. It will be my first time competing at this show also. Jim and I went down to see pre-judging last year. It seemed like a really good show. The girls looked great. Jim and I were both dieting for a show so we had to sneak out to the car to eat every hour or so. Oh the thought of cold chicken on the back of my Cherokee. Kinda makes your mouth water doesn't it? LOLOL Those days start for me on Saturday but I have actually already started so it will not be a big deal. Mo
