Jan Tana Professional Spray Tan

I am getting professionally sprayed with Jan Tana for my competition. I signed up for 4 coats and I have always heard you can never be too dark, but the company website says 2-3 coats for figure. I am already dark from the tanning bed. Last year I used Elite Tan from Tammy Pies and used a bottle and a half. Will 4 coats be just way too much?

I am half african american and half greek, I tan starting about 6 weeks out get a dark base and I still do 3-4 coats! IMO unless you are using crappy products (uneven applying) its very hard to be too dark...the stage lights wash you out. Jan Tana's products are AWESOME for the skin too...mine never flaked or cracked at all.

I heard that Jan Tana gives off a real good color and you may not need 4 coats, but I would just see how it goes and if after 3 coats you are good to go, then don't do the 4th application.


I also use to believe you could never be too dark, but I have seen first hand at a Pro show that, Yes, you can be too dark. So just be careful. If I can find pictures of what I'm trying to prove...I'll post them.
