Jenny's my girl...LOVE HER!!!!!!! :woohoo:

I'm really hoping to be down there with her at the Jr USAs, and we'll definitely get some pics together (hopefully Gene will shoot us again!), I'll still be a fattie, and she'll be in great shape. :rolleyes:

She's working with Dave Palumbo and will definitely be leaner than ever on stage this year. Can't wait to see how she turns out!! :bowdown:

I'll try to get her to post here too! But you can't take her away from GB, she's one of the only other FBBs over there with me. :D

Jen is awesome....she looks leaner now at 8 weeks out, then she did on stage last year. and as people have said, she has put on some great lean mass this off season.

gotta love Jen...

interesting side note...she is the only person in the last 8 years that has been able to get me to take a picture with them, and she is the only person in 14 years who has been able to talk me into cutting off my facial hair....she is a special young lady.

oh and i just realized no one has mentioned the fact Jen is actually doing the Heart of America Natural Classic which is two weeks before the Jr. USA's so she is now, actually 5 weeks out from that show.....

Bernie wishes he could make it to either or both.... guess i will have to wait til Vegas to see Jen again.....you are going to the USA's aren't ya?

Thanks everyone :) Thanks J....too bad I won't be seeing you onstage but I will be at the Illinois State and Jr. Nationals so hopefully I will see you in the halls and I won't be completely out of shape by then (ha the IL state is 1 week after the Jr. U's...)

I will hopefully be a middleweight, I am about 120 right now give or take a few...I can't imagine comingin as a lightweight but I do still have a few weeks in front of me so only time will tell. My first show the cutoff for middles is 122 so I just want to make that if possible.

Not doing Jr. Nats...girls get too big and my body has just about had it :) Plus my boyfriend and I are leaving for vacation on June 4th for 6 days and I plan on ENJOYING every second of that.

BadgerGirl...well this is my 4th year competing, my second as a bber-was figure previously.

26 years old, ran track on scholarship through college and then made the transition to competing because I had to do something. Last year I was the Illinois State Overall winner and ended up in 5th at Team U, should be better this year though.

In the off-season I level off around 140-142 and avoid all cardio when possible. I love lifting and want to be as big as naturally possible.

Let me know if you all have any specific questions about me :) I cannot wait to be onstage this year and meet all the people I have come to know these past few months. There are some things about this sport that are regreshing and one is that w all go through this transition and much of the same emotions when dieting so when we finally get to our goal we know the path we traveled.

Good luck to everyone!!!!!!! Hopefully will be taking pics tonight or tomorrow.

Bernie, thanks for helping a girl out an posting them on this board. At this point it is amazing I can get a thing done, sometimes I feel ok and others I am just wiped out. I can't complain because I feel better then I did last year at this point (plus I think I look better) but my mind is going.

Actually my first show is the NGA show, www.hoanaturalclassic.com in Peoria IL. I've done the show 2 times and absolutely love the show and the promoters...this year I just hope to win the whole thing! Last year I won novice bbing and the heavyweight division, this year I will hopefully take the show as only the overall winner gets a ProCard :)

I definitely agree that the NPC isn't my home but I love the competitors and photographers and it is the only federation that really gets good coverage so I choose the Jr. USA's because I think I can hold my own even if I am a lil natty!!

I am very sorry everyone, just trying to stay on top of everything and get my training in. Things are good...very good...10 days left and then I will be on stage. Can't wait to see the end result as I am guessing I should look the best I have ever looked. Personally right now I feel pretty flat, Dave upped my cardio again so I am up to 2:20 minutes a day....I don't know if I could get through this everyday if it wasn't for my boyfriend! That is a long time to be doing cardio....it has definitely helped tremendously to have a partner in this prep.

ha and the cardio is NOT by choice!!! Last year prepping for Team Universe I did ZERO cardio, zero! Then I just had to go hire Dave, lol, and look at me now. Well we will see how I look once I am on stage and then be able to compare what part of his prep I like and dislike compared to how my physique looks. He must really hate my big booty though, I have to admit that I want it back!

Keep your heads up ladies, we are nearly there. Can I tell you how excited I am to be able to compete this weekend though! Ugh, cannot wait for my cheat meal that night and Sunday morning, it will hopefully help provide enough samity to get through 2 more weeks of this.

This past weekend was amazing, I did finally WIN the NGA show that I have been competing in for the past 3 years...yea!!!!! Not only is this one of the best run shows I compete in, the promoters really do care about the competitors and making it about them...they also moved to a new facility this year that was clean and roomy. All in all I try to get other natural competitors to try this show out because I think it is one of the best out there.

That being said I can't really have wished for more this weekend. My boyfriend and good friend Gretchen were completely amazing and helped me get through the day...I forget how stressful show day can be constantly second guessing yourself. I did feel a bit flat going into the morning show and unfortunately we don't have any good stage shots from the morning (should have taken some backstage) but from people who have seen me compete before I heard that I was the best they have ever seen me look. I felt good just not as vascular as normal and like I said a bit flat.

Other then that I had a great time on stage, worked it a bit and enjoyed the work that I had put in. Going into the night show I did smooth out just a bit but the day had been LONG, woke up at 4:30 to start eating and didn't get on stage at night until 10 PM. Got through my routine without messing up, thankfully!! I was a bit nervous having oil on my and flinging a staff around but I think the audience appreciated it. The best part of my night was walking off stage, Pro-Card in hand to my boyfriend who was holding 48 roses...I mean how could I ask for more then that?

Ok, enough babbling...let me know if you have any questions-here are some pics. BTW I weighted in at 120, Friday evening with clothes on (cutoff was 122) so I probably was more like 118. Weighed myself this morning at 130, yikes!!! I am back 100% on my diet and hours and hours or cardio so hopefully I won't look prego onstage at the Jr. USA's :)

That show is the one I got my figure pro card at in 2005. The promotor John Abraham is AMAZING!! He treats his competitors soooo great! I donated a few shirts to that show this year. Great show!

Yea Christy, we are almost done!!! Seriously less then a week left of training, we can do this.

Thank you everyone on your congrats, the show was great and I am very happy with how I looked...hopefully I can repeat that and maybe do a bit better with my physique next weekend. I am still sitting at about 122...not as dry or hard as I looked before the show so hopefully in the next few days I can drop to under 120 and come in around 118 or under. Would love for my hammies to come in a bit harder but they are on their own pace-maybe Lori can help me tweak my posing to get them to pop a bit more.

Bree, I am 5'3.5. Thanks Andrea, wish you could have come to see but I get to see you in just a few days. Shianne, nice to hear from you :) Would love to see you at some point, what is your next show? My suit is part of a theme (thanks for the compliments, my good friend Tamee Marie stoned it for me) UNFORTUNATELY my theme depends on the use of a staff during my routine and at National Level shows props aren't permitted soooo I may look a lil silly out there and still have to fix my routine.

CONGRATS Jen! I won an overall NGA show and became a WNBF Natural pro in 1992 or 93...but I was NOT allowed to do NPC shows as long as I held my pro card. So now they do allow that huh?? Like as an IFBB Pro now I CANT compete in any other sanctions/federations.

Congrats Jen.... I remember seeing you at the usa's a few year back where you competed in figure... they said you were too big for figure back then. You give hope to all of the girls that are having problems with the constant change in what the judges are looking for in the figure divis. Who knows, you may open the door for an entire new division in the world of female bodybuilding. It would be great to see another division added to the sport for those "tweenies" - the girls that are just between the figure and bodybuilding. Its just good to know that the judges have taken notice.

Hey Jen,
Congrats on your win at Jr. USA. I am a figure competitor and I must say, after seeing you at SC, female bodybuiding may be the road for a lot of us figure girls. You looked amazing and you present a beautiful, feminine quality that seemed to die out for a long time in the sport of bodybuilding. I believe that the judges are trying to steer more figure girls back to bodybuilding and if you're the look that they are going for, I wouldn't be surprised to see more of us crossing over as you did. You brought an amazing quality to the stage and keep on representin'!:awesome:
