Did Gina soften up for the Ms Figure International?

IFBB Judge Jim Rockell wants to see Gina come in even softer, and lose some leg mass.

Terry & Elaine Goodlad interviewed Jim and Gina over at Bodysport.com after the Ms Figure International...

everything looks a bit smaller. her shoulders, her legs, even her back is less hard.

However, as Vanessa pointed out previously...she isnt posing hard AT ALL at the AC. shes barely doing ANYTHING. this could have been a strategic move to make her appear softer....

what do u think??

She indeed looks smaller to me.

I wish we could find out her weight at each show. Anyone know?

She looks a LITTLE softer in the glutes and arms at the Arnold. And definitely not flexing nearly as much in the pics from the ASC...which she may have done to give a softer appearance (although there is more leg separation in the ASC front pose)...Her abs look different as well, but I can't tell if that's just from the way she's posing or if she is maybe holding a bit more water in the ASC pics?

Looks damn good in ALL of the pics!! :respect:

Legs are WAY more cut in the Arnold pics from front, back, and side. Upper body is a little softer though.

I agree with Joe. Her legs look harder this year (i want those cuts!) but they are smaller too, as are her glutes are lot more tighter. Her upper is softer and because of her not posing and flexing, she does appear smaller on top, but I think it is just the lack of posing...well I take that back..her delts do appear smaller. But she did bring her legs down in size so she would have had to bring her upper down to in order to maintain her balance.

I like her lower better this year but last years upper!

I just want to say that I LOVE her body :D

I sure hope she isn't trying to soften up.

Agree with you there Neely, but it seems like Gina's able to adapt really well to what they want.

Over at Bodysport.com:

Kevin Myles interviewed Gina Aliotti...

Bodysport: Figure is still a growing and evolving sport and you are right in the middle of it and should be for a while. What changes or evolutions would you like to see in the next 5-10 years for Gina Aliotti and the sport of figure?

Gina: I feel so luck to have jumped into the sport when it first started! Now, five years later, I am sitting in a position where I feel I can help spread the word of this rapidly evolving sport. I feel like I have the ability to use my successes to increase the understanding of what figure is about. I would like to see figure become better known and recognized as a sport. I would love for figure to be televised like we used to see fitness on ESPN. I see myself continuing to compete for many years while helping women achieve their fitness goals.

her glutes are much tighter :respect: and entire thigh is more streamlined; but it doesn't look as though she is holding anything hard at all. Her delts and back look the same to me :o

She looks softer, but maybe some of it could be the lighting?? The stage lighting in the two photos is very different... Could also explain why she looks harder in the first pic but has more cuts in her legs in the second...
