Maybe this question has been up before.. I dont know...But I was wondering why the url is called Siouxcountry?? Where did that name come from..

Because I was a moderator of the women's section at Muscular development.com. Most knew me as a supporter of the women's side of the sport. I am currently banned at MD. :banghead:

Plus I couldn't think of anything else. :D

Long story.

I was a moderator there, spent 100s of hours of my free time building that section, and supporting the women who posted in it (that I will never regret). I regret helping MD, but not supporting the women.

They turned on my friend Lori (poster ripitupbaby), and I was the only moderator to defend her. They never trusted me since. I am a friend of Lori, so according to them I can't be trusted.

One day Adam (he runs the board) removed me from the moderator forum, and made me a forum leader. He demoted me. I never did anything to harm MD, and I was their biggest promoter. Will this hurt a great deal, and my motivation took a dive. I thought about it and finally agreed to continue to do what I was doing, but then he demoted me again. I finally told him off, and he removed me as a forum leader.

Now I have my own board.

What finally got me banned was this...

Im sorry Sioux... Well, some people dont appreciate the work you do. Look at it the bright side, you met a lot of wonderful people and it seems like you´ve pulled a lot of them over here. :) I think its great, that we can link to any interesting site we find on the web. You never know where you find something relevant. I was a bit cautious at first posting links, but then I saw that you were linking a lot yourself, so I thought it would be ok - or you could edit;)

But you still didnt answer my question! LOL - Where did the url come from?Are you indian or are you referring to the roots of your country?? Or...(so curious lol)..

I came up with the ID siouxcountry, because I live near a Sioux / Dakota reservation. I am actually half Irish half German.

I applaud Sioux for his well run board and linking to the sites where he find the information. If only everyone who attempts to run a blog or post news would properly credit the source as well as the photographers.

I was under the assumption that Sioux ws Native American or had Indian blood. But anyway, he's cool dude and to think that he only heard of female bodybuilding 15 months ago. And to do all this.:bowdown::bowdown::bowdown: :respect: You da man!

I totally agree! I was a member for at least a year without one single post. Lori has done an amazing job and now I've come out of lurkdom. Very unusual for me to stay out that long. :)

trolls dont bother me. you just play dumb for a while. then zing them a time or ten, and they think you are funny, or they get confused and go away.

i have dealt with way too many of them in the last 10 years to let them bother me anymore. i just dont like it when they go after the women. dump on me all you want, just dont mess with my girls....:D
