Muscle Tech GP in Sweden is held on the 5-6th of April. This event will have some of the best nordic figure girls on the line.

http://www.skkf.org/images/mtgp2008-provbild-2.jpg

In figure there will be two classes, -163cm and +163cm = over and under 5'4.2"

In the short class we will have Linda Fodor, resent winner of Arnold Classic in the A class and former runner up at the World Championships. Linda has also won three Swedish Championships and one Nordic Championship.

We will also see last years overall winner at MTGP and the winner of Loaded Cup in Denmark Kristina Dybdahl from Denmark. Kristina won those competitions with ease, and was talked about a lot after that competition, she has a great physique.

Last among the "favourites" are the "new" girl from Sweden that won the last competition and took the crowd with storm.. amazing calves and shoulders.. many thought she is to big for figure... we will see now when she will meet some better girls then last time, Stina Telhammer.

I will continue later with more girls that will compete during this weekend. Or if Anne and Hakan will continue....

This gonna be an extremely interesting show. Specially in short figure class: Linda, Stina and Kristina.. I am 100% sure they all gonna bring good condition. Nice to see how it goes, they all have a bit different physique. And of course in +163cm class Camilla and many other good girls. Have to add, that this contest is also Swedish qualifier for European Championships..

Mats, you can continue, you know the swedish "chicks" better than I do ;)

So yesterday they had a qualification contest for today. Winner of short figure class was danish Kristina Dybdahl and Camilla Öhman won long figure class. Those were simply the best ones yesterday. And today there will be a good "fight" when these ladies meet on stage. I'll give more links to pics later, but here is one pic of Kristina Dybdahl.

Isn't this too muscular for figure by the 'new' international standards? In Holland the judges would penalize a girl this muscular i think or advise her to do the bodybuilding class.

Again, I would not just think one factor: size or condition or frame and so on. Yes, she was biggest but at the same time, she was clearly best and had best total package.

I cannot understand this "penalize" - thing. In my opinion the winner is simply that one, who looks best. Some girls don't even have enough muscles. Why in hell the biggest one should be penalized and not those ones, who look more like modelling girls. To give a lower placing to some girl just because she has more muscles is totally insane...

BTW, which international standards do you mean? Pro girls and NPC amateurs have "the letter", but IFBB amateurs have got nothing like that...

It's what Jim Manion stated a couple off weeks back that 'The judges will be marking down competitors with excessive hardness and muscular separation'. I don't know what the impact of his statement is on national level but from what is heard of juliette Bergmann is that in international competitions (european en world championships) they will mark down competitors that are too muscular or with too much muscle seperation.
In holland girls have already been marked down for being to hard or too muscular. In fact it started last year already. That's why dutch figure girls that compete in international competitions look softer and smaller compared to figure girls from other countries.

Thats why i'm very corious to see what girls will win in this competition and how the judges in Sweden will aplie to the 'new' rules.;)

But again, it is and it should be total package -judging. If some competitor is bigger than the others but at the same time better in every factors- she should win. In my opinion that "new rule"(which does not even exist officially in IFBB amateurs)does not mean that big girl is automaticly the one which places lower just because of that. And then the question, which is too big and hard? In my opinion, Kristina is not that, not even near to that. Swedish jugdes made wondeful job, because Kristina was clearly the best.

Yes, i also think Kristina looks great!! I hope you will post more pic's from this competition.

And i know you should look at the total package but i just wondered if something has changed after Jim Manion's statement.
