Yes we will be there! He saw Dave P this last weekend, got his last week prep and is ready to go ALL he's talking about is RICE LMAO! My in-laws are coming, my big bro, little bro,ern's cousin... we're all excited! See everyone there!:waving:

So, I wonder how the show went, or if it is over yet. It should be over bc they combine the prejudging & finals at this show I think. Steph, how did Ern do?

Hey guys,

The show went very well!! We did a prej/finals combined format, and I think that everyone enjoyed it.

Ern looked GREAT other than not smiling enough :D, he got third in the Middleweights I believe. :bowdown:

The MW and HW class were VERY impressive...7 or 8 quality guys in each. :respect:

I will be posting the gallery on shutterfly in the next couple of days.

Another great show!! No time with celebrating, Mother's Day, and prepping to write a long recap like I did for the New ENGLANDs... but we had a great day!!! This venue is so friggin cool! The show ran smooth, started at 11:30 and we were DONE by 5PM which was FABULOUS! I was home in time to play with the kids a little (for Ern to get PIZZA - and me stare longingly, drooling at IT!LOL) and in bed sleeping by 9 that night LOL

Ern as Lori said took 3rd in the middle weights and WAS PUMPED, had a great time and fully enjoyed the experience! I'll try and post up some pics tonight or tomorrow I have a lot from all the classes... here's a few for now though. :waving:

Anthony and I have developed an electronic scoring method (through a spreadsheet), so we get everything set up before the show. Then we enter everyone into the sheets as they register. We print off judges sheets, the judges fill them out, and we collect them after each round. Anthony then enters the judges scores while the next round is being judged.

Once all the scores are entered, they are tallied and the placings come up automatically. We then copy the top 5 to an emcee sheet and print that for the emcee.

We can basically get the entire show done with about a 15-20 minute break between prejudging and finals, where we finish entering scores, printing sheets, and double checking everything.

For a 50-ish competitor show, we start the prejudging at 11:30 AM, and we're done by about 4 pm. :cool:

we've been in some super expensive venues lately that charge by the hour, this weekend was a casino...we do a check ins from say, 9am-10:30, then we do an 11am meeting, at 11:30 we start judging, when the judging is done we take 10-20minute, I mc and introduce everyone one by one like at a nite show with everyone posing, when thats done, we take another 20minute to get awards set up, then we're done! this show ended at 4:00pm :)
