Debi placed 5th at the New York Pro. Only the top 3 qualify.

Amber is now a popular figure competitor, she has placed in the top-five in almost every show she has competed since turning pro at the 2003 Figure Nationals. Her highest achievement to date has been placing second at the 2006 Miss Figure Olympia and winning the Palm Beach Pro Figure show. After the Olympia Amber was planning to retire from competing in figure to begin in raising a family with her fiancee, but decided to compete at Figure Olympia in 2007 where she placed in six place. In a recent conversation she announced that her fiancee was diagnosed with cancer and that he is going through chemotherapy while she was getting ready for the Olympia (which may explain her placing). So far it has not been announced whether the 2007 Ms. Figure Olympia will be her last contest that she will compete in.

Wow, hope all will well with them. I also liked seeing her on stage. Met her in FL back in 2005 at the Southern States.

Wow!! Thanks for the update on Amber!!! I can only imagine prep'n while a loved one is dealing w/ chemo!!! She's a strong person!!!

Hey Kayde....Amy was at the Mountaineer and helped us pass out a few trophies...she's actually taken all of '08 off and not sure she'll compete in '09...she did say when she does get back on stage it will be in figure. And yes, she looks good!
