Dave, based on the results from the team u and bodybuilding. What is your professional opinion on what direction is the industry going in??? It is starting to get confusing on how to come into a show. dry, hard and ripped or not so dry, hard or ripped??? I am very happy i pay you to help me because there is NO WAY i do this on my own ever. thank you for taking the time to answer this question.
* For bodybuilding, the standards are still RIPPED is better. If you're not in condition, changes are you're not gonna do well. In the women's bbing, there really wasn't any standout competitors. Because of this, they had to choose between a fairly well-conditioned LEA ANN SCELFO and a terribly conditioned, Awesome shaped, CASSANDRA FLOYD. The judges went with symmetry and shape over conditioning. If LEA ANN had been just a little more ripped, she would have won. If CASSANDRA had been 5-8lbs lighter, no one would have touched her.
In the FIGURE category, I still don't think the judges have consistency in judging. Without naming names, I've seen patterns in certain judging panels over others. Figure has come down to picking your judging panel the way a lawyer picks a jury before starting a trial. *
