For some reason I was always calling her Julia. Oops.

I met her couple years in a row when she comes to Colorado for The Carla Sanchez Fitness Fiesta. She is such a sweet lady.

Those are awesome shots of her!

I'm going to talk to Julie and see if I can make the group an "official" group as opposed to a "fan club."

Her and her husband joined the group at the end of 2007 and have been incredible in supporting it. I think it's finally time for me to take it to the next level. What do you think?

Turn it "official" or keep it a "fan club"? Either way, she'll have my support 110%. :respect:

I agree. She's come a LONG way from her Fitness America days, and back then, you could tell that she had that "it" factor about her. One of the things, though, that she said in a AG tryout vid that a factor in why she's not placed higher was her...backside. She says her fans like it, though.

As far as the booty.....I can see what she means since the judges place the butt leanness VERY high - this is why I don't place very high either.....

The article alone is why she's my absolute favorite fitness competitor, no ifs, ands, or buts about it. This is what being a top fitness ROLE model is all about.
