Millie Cleveland - FBB at Arnold Amateur [Archive]

I would like to introduce everyone to my good friend Millie Cleveland, female BBer from Bermuda. She will be competing in the lightweight class at the Arnold Amateur.

Millie has been named Miss Bermuda and has won their championship the past 3 years in a row. She also won the Emerald Cup in 2005, and has many more accomplishments that I'm sure I am forgetting!

Please make sure to cheer her on at the AC this weekend.

I remember her back when she did the Emerald Cup in 2005. She competed against a friend Lynx. I think Lynx is a member here.

She does look BIG for a LW! Props to her!

she told me two weeks ago that she was afraid she wouldn't make weight, but last week she was down some more and will now probably make it.

Millie definitely carries a lot of muscle for her size - I'm pretty sure she's under 5'0 tall.

Her man Winston is also competing at the Amateur, light heavy I think - keep an eye out for him as well.

lol it's Danielle but Nellie is a family nickname - my younger sis couldn't say Danielle when we were little, she used to call me NaNell, which just turned into Nellie somehow.

Yes, Millie is very short - she is 5ft tall max.

As another point of interest she has lost a lot of weight, I would say 75lbs or so, before she got into bodybuilding.

My internet cut off all day yesterday I was so bummed, but glad to see I didn't miss too much. It is amazing how great everyone looked!

Joanne Stewart (from New Zealand) won the Lightweights. Let me tell you, she was sharp and extremely symmetrical. Her conditioning was superb.

I thought she might push Segura for the overall, she was that good (IMHO)!

We stayed @ the same hotel....I told her a friend of hers posted about her....
She was so shocked when I showed her....
She looked awesome....

She did win the overall at the NA's last year, and alot of people were surprised to see her at this show competing as an amateur. I am not sure what her reasoning was for doing this.
