Hello All!
The USA is quickly approaching!!! We were successful in meeting at Jr. U to take a group pic...not sure why, but guess the logistic for Jr. Nats was off so no pic that time:confused: With this being a 2 day show things are a little different w/ the check-in times but thought it would be worth a try. Is anyone interested in taking a group pic at USA??

Ask any of our regulars, and they will tell you one of the funnest parts about being apart of an online message board community is making friends, and getting together in real life. :)

probably after the morning show on saturday. fri night is figure one piece and mens prejudging. you can either do that or most height/weigh-ins are done on thurs i think. with late ins on friday morning.
saturday morning is both figure two piece and womens FBB. the lobby empties out fairly quick. and if it is driving issue i will out there with my Durango. so i can take people back to hotels or whatever if you miss shuttles.
ill be there.....but ill be dead before anyone gets a picture of me.

Early check-in for ffb and figure is Thursday 7/24 8-9:30PM at host hotel. We could meet at 7:30 in the area that check-in going to be done at. Late check-in is Friday morning from 9-10:30AM. Would that be pushing it close? I know some ppl will be tanning and getting make-up done around late check-in. I don't want some1 to miss the pic b/c of that.
The morning show is an option as well..but question is will the FBBs feel like waiting on all Figure classes to be judged?

im serious. i dont want to break any cameras. its not that i dont like getting my picture taken.....:D
there is only one female competitor to get me in a picture. and she had to threaten me.

I attended the USAs last year. I'd say the most convenient place would be the event site; specifically the lobby of UNLV's Artemus Auditorium or in the courtyard just outside the front doors. For the time I'd attempt to reach a consensus amongst everybody since the event schedule will dictate availability at varying times for bodybuilding/fitness/figure.

What time?to me the best place would be at the host hotel on Thursday evening possibly out by the pool or where the free food is in the back.
there is too much stuff going on just prior to and after the prejudging and finals.

I'd be happy to but I'm not staying at the Host hotel. Not sure when I'll be weighing in either.
I'm thinking the Venue @ UNLV is the most convenient location. What about before the night show? We all gota be there for the meeting.
Either way...just lemme know.
I agree it's a lot of fun to meet our online friends in person. D and I have made some wonderful long lasting relationships via message boards and try at least once a year to see those people. Some we've been meeting up w/ now for about 8 years!

I would love to meet up with you all, Kenyatta! My only issue is my flight doesn't even land until 11:00pm on Thursday! I am going to have a rough night. Because I get in so late, I will also have to check in Friday morning and then get up with my trainer. So, you all figure out a time and place and if I can be there - I will. If I can't, we could always snap a few backstage!

Wow, you both will be arriving late and I'm sure will be pre-occupied w/ prep... I hope this 2day show is something I can adjust to!
I personally would like as many ppl on the board as possible to be in the picture.
How does everyone feel about meeting Friday morning immediately following weigh-in at 10:30AM? I know there will be some ppl w/ shoots, tanning, and make-up during that time, but it's the only way to accomodate the late arrivals. For those who will be early we can still meet Thursday evening to take a picture. Just a thought..let me know what you think?

I want to get in on this! Just pick a time and place and I'll make every effort to be there. My schedule is a little nuts (just like everyone, I know) with shoots, etc. Getting excited!!!!!

10:30 AM PST at the Embassy Suites. Get together will take place where the final check in/weigh in area is at.
If this is cool, I will start a new thread this weekend informing all who view this forum.

Hey Tracy!! I plan to do early check-in on Thursday and was go'n 2 return Fri. AM to take pic. But, I don't mind doing 2 group pics..for those coming on Thurs. then on Friday. For Thursday would meeting right before check-in be good?
