We're gonna be at the host. It worked out perfect for us last year esp. with our kids. They swam in the pool all day and our view from our room was the pool so we could keep an eye on them. Plus with weigh ins being there and Mary was there last year for Pro Tan and my makeup girl stayed there as well so it just worked out well for us. PLUS bonus that my hubby and kids love is the free breakfast. lol. Everyday, if they woke up early, they went downstairs and ordered up some yummy stuff. And couple mornings Cam brought up an egg white omelet for me too.

But your deal, WOW, can't beat that! Who you coming up with?

My hubby and I are both competing. We always stay at a place w/ a kitchen and seperate bedrooms. It's like a condo.

We were saving the one bedroom for our Nutritionist, but he is most likely not going to be able to make it.

In the event he doesn't we will have an affordable room w/ a kitchen and a seperate bedroom and bath that we can share. It's just off the strip across from MGM and next to Tropicana. 5 min drive to the Venue.

Room is $169. Wed and Thurs and $179 on Fri.

We will be staying there from Wed to Sat. Then we are switching hotels.

Lemme know if anyone is interested.

I'm going to Sin City Baby!!! Long story short, I made arrangements to go to Las Vegas to support my trainer who will be competing in the Super Hvy. class. When I made those arrangements I had no intentions of competing. After my showing at JR. USA my trainer told me it just didn't make much sense at all to drop the money on airfare and burn up my vacation time at work and NOT compete!! I have some good momentum going and it would be flat out stupid not to compete! But, I was enjoying the good food and not having to do sooo much cardio! However, the last 4 weeks the more I thought about it the more retarded I felt!! Deep down inside I know I'm too close to my competition weight NOT to compete!!! So anywho, I'm psyched and ready to ROCK the stage!!

Thank you for the supportive words. I have not received official feedback, but now I can say I've witnessed first-hand the changes that are going on with figure. In my opinion, by looking at the top 5 I don't feel that my body is comparable to them (and I don't mean that in a good or bad way, I'm just different) At this point I'm not sure what I have to do or what I want to do. I'm going to talk with my coaches in the next few days and get my feedback from as many judges that I can.
I am not going to do USA's, but I will be at Team U in Sept. This will give me time to re-evaluate and adjust.

I don't think there should be a cap on entries. IMO a person competing at USA, NA, TU, or Nats should have a Jr. show under there belt and have atleast placed in the Top 15. If there was a cap in place of say 20 competitors in a class and you missed it maybe that person can still compete but would have had to place in the Top 10. I think that would cut down on the numbers significantly and you would have super quality physiques. I think this is better b/c otherwise you would have ppl sending off a non-refundable entries just to ensure they don't miss the cap. Some competitors will compete at USA w/ no intentions of competing at NA unless they don't get their pro card. I shouldn't have to send an entry in for the next show and I haven't even competed at the next show on the calendar. People are already strapped financially and shouldn't have to send all the entry forms in super early b/c they are afraid of a capacity limit.

I understand that there are only so many procards etc, but when some classes have only 2 inches dividing them, it seems silly to have girls who are 4'11" compete with girls who are 5'2" for example.

That’s the night after the NPC USA Championships, so if you’ll be in town, you’ll want to check it out.

When the show was canceled, Diana was offered the use of the Cashman Field Theater, and an idea was born. “We have gathered together our friends from the performing arts world for a noble cause,” Kristi says. “What started out as a performance for a bodybuilding show has evolved into a night of culture and philanthropy.”

The women were inspired to create this event because they both had experienced personal tragedies involving burn victims, they say.

“Trevor Dennis is Diana’s young grandson. His life was forever changed on New Year’s weekend 2005. While [his family was] camping in Ocitillo Wells (San Diego desert), the trailer where eight-year-old Trevor was sleeping caught on fire. Trevor was severely burned over 30 percent of his body. His entire respiratory system was destroyed. The Grossman Burn Center has been instrumental in Trevor’s ongoing recovery.

“Trevor’s fate was in the hands of the doctors at the Grossman Burn Center. The doctors at the burn center were wonderful, I want to give the center something back for all that they have done,” Diana says.

“Kristi’s cousin, Daniel Moynihan was a first responder after the 9/11 attacks. His health has never been the same since then. Over the past 6 1/2 years more than 200 first responders have died and thousands have become ill due to the environment at the site. Kristi has seen firsthand how this has affected her family.”

“The primary mission of the FealGood Foundation is to spread awareness and to educate the public concerning the catastrophic health effects suffered as a result of 9/11,” Diane and Kristi say. “Many first responders, true heroes, have been burdened with financial responsibilities due to medical costs and lost wages. The FealGood Foundation provides financial relief to these heroes.”

The performances by Diana and Kristi are just the beginning of the program, they say. “Other artists and performances include, Rhythma Drums; Lindley Lopez Circus; Alin Campan, dancer; Suwasit, dancer; Otgo Waller, contortionist, Erica Vanlee Band: Gina Sempadian, singer and songwriter; Adam Garza, singer, and Darren Zatkow.”

Admission is free, but donations will be accepted and appreciated.

Once again, the date is July 27. The time is 7 p.m. and the place is Cashman Field Theater, 850 N. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89101.

For Kristy McKinney in Class D! She is my girl even though she kicks my butt at every show we do together, I still love her! LOL!! I truly hope she brings home that pro card this time around. She has an AWESOME physique and will do very well at the pro level. I was with her on Saturday and she looks even more amazing than she did in Chi-town. With Terri Turner and Veronica Miller not competing in Vegas, I bet she moves up to the number 1 slot and brings home the card! GO GIRL!!!!

For Amanda Quinlan in E Class! I just hope she stays in E Class for Team U too!!!! LOL! That means maybe I can move up a placing or so! Good luck Amanda, she looked amazing in Chicago and I am willing to bet she will look even better at Vegas!

For Brandie Gardner in F Class, just cause she is another fellow Florida girl! We have to stick together! LOL!

I have no idea what to expect, I'm just kind of picking the brain of everybody who has done a national show. I just want to do well. What's doing well in my eyes? I'm not going to say placing in the top five because I'm a newby at this, but I'm a compettive gal that's for sure. So I'd like to be top 10 at least. So I'm going out there with my little brother so I'll have one quality bonding time with him. And then after the show eat my bodyweight in pancakes.
