Dark Chocolate Butterscotch Brownies

1 cup whole wheat flour OR oat flour for gluten free peeps
1 cup granulated Splenda OR baking stevia (I used Splenda)
1/2 cup egg whites
6 pieces Baker's semisweet baking chocolate
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 pinch salt
1/4 bag butterscotch chips

Combine everything, melt the chocolate in the microwave, mix, bake at 350 for 12-15 mins!

Cut into 12 even pieces, for approx 105 cals each! Not bad for a brownie, and this one is really sinful tasting. I had one tiny lil bite and it tasted awesome. Definitely a healthier version of a fudgy butterscotchy brownie, which are normally like 300-500++ cals !

just a quick note...u can actually make the semi sweet chocolate squares at home... i'll post the link to the recipie later but it's just coaco powder, sugar, and butter melted and mixed together...soooooo if u wanna cut even more sugar out, just use stevia/splenda here instead of the sugar as well. just another option!
