IFPA YORTON CUP PRO INTERNATIONAL
Held in conjunction with the OCB Amateur National Championships
November 15, 2008 – Washington, D.C.

OPEN TO COMPETITORS WHO HAVE QUALIFIED TO COMPETE AS PRO THROUGH ANY FEDERATION
Location: Bowie Center for Performing Arts, 15200 Annapolis Rd (MD-450), Bowie, MD 20715
Show times: Prejudging: 10:00 am, Finals: 5:00 pm
Divisions: Men’s Pro Bodybuilding Open, Women’s Pro Bodybuilding Open, Pro Figure Open. Twenty-five competitors max will be accepted for each division. Submit entries ASAP to ensure a spot.
Awards: Over $15,000 cash prizes. For each category: 1st Place: $2,500, 2nd Place: $1,500, 3rd Place: $1000, Best Poser/Presentation: $100. Trophies for top 5 in each category. IFPA Medals for all participants.
Check-in: Mandatory check-in Friday November 14th 4pm – 9pm at the Comfort Inn, 4500 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20716.
Contestant meeting: Saturday November 15th 8:30 AM at the contest site in the auditorium.
Fees: If entry received by or postmarked by November 1st: Entry $75, If registering after November 1st: Entry $125. Walk-in entries will not be accepted the day of the event. IFPA Membership $50 (if not already a current member). Polygraph Exam $40 (payable to the examiner at the time of testing). Fees non-refundable.
Tickets: Reserved Prejudging (front four rows of center section) $30, Reserved Finals (front four rows of center section) $45, Adult General Admission Prejudging $20, Adult General Admission Finals $35, Adult General Admission Combo (both shows) $50, Under 18 General Admission Prejudging $10, Under 18 General Admission Finals $15, Under 18 General Admission Combo (both shows) $20, Trainers Ticket $60 (only applicable to those helping a competitor prepare back stage – one trainer max per competitor is permitted – trainer’s tickets are good for general admission seating and back stage access at both show times). Tickets non-refundable.
Drug Testing: Polygraph testing for all competitors. $40 payable in cash or money order to the polygraph examiner at the time of testing. Photo identification required. Results from recent polygraph exams performed for other contests will not be honored. It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure they are polygraph tested for the event. If any competitors are not polygraph tested for the event they will be disqualified. Urine testing for top three place winners in each category (in addition to their polygraph tests). It is the competitor’s responsibility to ensure a sample is provided before leaving the event. If competitors do not provide samples they are disqualified. Plus all competitors subject to additional forms of testing, if requested, at the discretion and expense of the promoter. Polygraph testing will take place Thursday 11/13 and Friday 11/14 at the Comfort Inn Conference Center, 4500 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20716. Promoter will contact entrants 1-2 weeks before the show to schedule appointments for testing.
Backstage policy: 1 assistant per competitor allowed, assistant MUST buy a trainers ticket, which is good for General Admission and back stage access.
Spray Tanning and Make-up Services Available: Spray tan and/or make-up service will be available from Studio 10, contact Tanya at (800) 396-6219 or makeup@mstudio10.com for details.
Photo & Video: Stage photography service will be available. Videos of the event will be available from Slade Video. Outside video cameras not allowed in the theatre.
Routines: Music supplied is to be on CD only with only one track on it. No profanity. Bodybuilding: Routine length 90 seconds for bodybuilding routines and props are allowed. Figure: At least 90 seconds of music should be provided. Props are not allowed for figure stage walks.
Host Hotel: Comfort Inn Conference Center, 4500 Crain Hwy, Bowie, MD 20716. Hotel is 4.5 miles from the contest site. For reservations call (301) 464-0089 and ask for rates for group code “OCB” for nightly rate of $117. The hotel offers an exercise room, business center, free breakfast, free parking, free local calls, free high-speed Internet, safes and modem/data ports. Directions to Contest Venue: From I-495/I-95 Beltway take exit #19A MD-50E 6.6 miles, take exit #11 MD-197N toward Bowie/Collington Rd for 2.1 miles, turn right onto Annapolis Rd (MD-450E) for 0.8 miles. From Comfort Inn Conference Center: turn right on Harbour Way - go 0.1 mi, turn left Mitchellville Rd - go 0.3 mi, turn right on Collington Rd (MD-197 N) - go 2.9 mi, turn right on Annapolis Rd (MD-450 E) - go 0.8 mi. From Holiday Inn West: Bear right on Sandy Spring Rd (MD-198 E), go 3.2 mi, continue on Laurel Bowie Rd (MD-197 S), go 11.3 mi, turn left on Annapolis Rd (MD-450 E), go 0.8 mi.
Airports: Closest airports to contest site and host hotel are Baltimore Washington International (BWI) (22 miles), and Reagan National (DCA) (24 miles)

NOTICE: Once becoming an IFPA member AND competing in an IFPA Pro show afterwards, athletes are no longer eligible to compete in any IFPA's amateur affiliate events. Athletes can compete as Pros in any other federation without jeopardizing their IFPA Pro status. In addition, athletes may still be eligible for other federations’ amateur shows (non-IFPA affiliated ones).

Waiver: I hereby intend to be legally bound for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, and waive and release any and all rights and claims for damages I may have against the facility owners, IFPA, OCB, the promoters, and any sponsors, agents, or representatives for any injuries suffered by me as a result of my participation and/or losses suffered by me as a result of my participation and/or attendance at this contest. I hereby grant the promoters, IFPA, OCB, any approved magazine, video or entertainment organization and all of their agent’s successors, licensees and assignees, the right to photograph or otherwise reproduce my voice, appearance and name and exhibit, distribute, transmit and/or otherwise exploit any and all media, including without limitation, by means of still photography, motion pictures, radio, television, printing, or any other medium now known or hereafter devised, including audio with respect to any merchandising, advertising, and/or publicity and the right to use my name and information about me in connection with any of the foregoing. No further compensation shall be payable to me at any time in connection therewith. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to obligate, IFPA and/or any magazine, video or any approved video entertainment organization to photograph or otherwise reproduce my voice, appearance or name, or to make use of any of the rights granted herein. I also understand that the aforementioned rights may be reassigned at any time without further comment.
I agree to abide by the decision of the IFPA, and/or contest promoters concerning my participation in an IFPA-sanctioned contest pending the results of any form of testing used to detect use of banned substances with the IFPA. I understand that the administrator or laboratory utilized for substance screenings is the choice of the IFPA and/or the promoters, and agree to accept the results of said testing, whatever they may be. I hereby waive and release any claims or demands against the IFPA, its representatives, sponsors and promoters that may arise out of my participation in an IFPA-sanctioned event or my membership in the IFPA.
