Since this will be held in Vegas, to enter the contest, you must be willing to gamble... on yourself. The entry fee is $50, which includes unlimited sushi and a drink of your choice. The cost of your meal will be in the $25-$30 range (tip included), and the remainder of your entry fee will be put into the pot. That pot will go to the winner of the challenge. If you are interested in competing either contact me, or just post up in this thread and talk some smack.

OH, sounds like so much fun! I won a 3rd place ribbon in the eating contest at the Orange County Fair last year (even beat out some big boys). Looking to move up in my ranking, hee hee!!

Is it timed? Or by piece/roll? Do you get to pick your type of sushi? I can really put down the food and outeat my 6'1" 220lb husband...HMMMM...not a huge sushi eater, but known to indulge in california rolls every now and again..

It is not timed... but there are no long pauses allowed. We have to standardize this thing somehow, so there are no rolls... only salmon and tuna sushi.
