Well, well, well, I'm making Good on My Word and had to let folks know that I've had a Blast over at the IFBB North Americans during the Labor Day Holiday Weekend. But 1st off I wanted to thank Everyone that was there for Wishing me a Happy Birthday (September 3) It was a Very Special Day indeed that I won't forget including the Hotel Staff Hooking up the Birthday Dessert.
Beyond that It was Great Seeing My Fellow Michiganders Calvin (CSI Photo), Jeffery Sygo (RX Muscle), & Jose (DTH From the FTV/Genex Forums).
Plus shoutouts to David Cooper (HD Physiques), Dan Ray (RX Muscle), Lou Krivda (Kriv Studios) Tom Nine (Tom Nine.com, WPW), John Napftopolis & Barry Brooks (WPW/Ray Martin), Big Dave (Palumbo) RX Muscle, Big J1 (RX Muscle), Promoter Gary Udit & Kip (Utopia Entertainment) it was Cool.
And not to forget My Heroes & Friends Angela & Shane Rayburn, Julie & Glen Peavey, Claire & Shawn O'Connell, Dan & Justine Dohring, Sharon Mould, Heather Parsons, Bonnie Pappas, Michelle & Bill Brent, Sherri Gray, Gail Auerbach, Maria Mikola, Janeen Lankowski, Kate Cooper, Monique Jones, Jennifer Guitierrez, Jody Wald, Carrie Walend, Natalie Ariel, Trudy Ireland, Rosemary Jennings, Yamille Marrero, Terri Vona, Ellen Woodley, Rita Rae, Julie Palmer, Tara Hollingsworth & Andrea Holiday, Trish (T-Bird), Dawnice Beckley, Meridith (whom Cal "CSI" shot with day after the show), Nicole Wilkins-Lee, Tina Durkin (If I spelled it right), Fitness Olympia Winner Carol Semple & Shannon Dey.
Much Love, Props & Respect to you Ladies!!!!This was the Best IFBB North Americans that I've ever attended.
No doubt there was NO MASS MONSTERS in the house just the Beautiful "Thickly Beefy Dense Freaky Shredded Vascular Striated Ripped To the Bone" contest shape combined with Symmetrical Feminine Proportion.
Plus I've learned a Valuble lesson, you've got to bel lean, ripped, have Great conditioning (including Vascular cuts & definition) plus have a Great pair of Legs to compete let alone to place in the top 5 or winning your weight class or the overalls for sure.
But all in all The "Motor City" fan has had a Great Time & We've got to do it again in 2011 for sure.:D :):awesome:

Hey Claire you're welcome Big time!! And your weight class & Overalls in the Masters Division along with your Pro Card was the icing on the cake for My Birthday Weekend.
Like I've mentioned at the contest is that from what I've learned is that besides having a tremendous Upper Body, you've gotta have Some Serious Well Built & Well Conditioned Legs to either Make it in the Top 5 or 6, let alone winning your division or the overalls.
And Claire, you are living proof of that. Plus it's moments Like this makes me feel proud to be a long time fan of the sport. Again Congratulations to you Claire & I'm Happy for both you & Shawn, My Hero & Friend. :) :waving:

*ahem* Where's my shoutout? ;)
Great seeing you again, Chris! This guy is a walking encyclopedia of women's bodybuilding.... It's pretty amazing. LOLLOL, Maryann, you will automatically get a shoutout from me Period My Hero & Friend. I'm so Glad that we've seen each other over the weekend. I can't wait to see you back onstage again (this time as a Middleweight) in the Future. And your "Motor City" fan will be rooting for your Success.
Now as far as the Encyclopedia thing goes. Big J1 From RX Muscle/Species Nutrition has told me Friday on My Birthday at the Bar Restaurant in Host Hotel (Cleveland Renaissance) right across from the Front Desk as well as the Sans Scours Restaurant that He knows more than I do (LOL) but it's all Good. And He's a Pretty Cool Dude.
I'm also Glad to see the other Species crew Gail Auerbach, Carrie Walend, Jody Wald as well as the other Blonde Lady who wore Glasses (I Forgot Her Name).
As a Matter of fact, Big J1 has told me that He was going to check out the Restaurant in the Cleveland Suburb of Lakewood, OH in which was Highlighted in The Discovery's Travel Channel program: Man vs Food in which the Restaurant supposed to have served the Largest Grilled Cheese Sandwich in the Nation.
Beyond that it was Great seeing you again as always Maryann, you still are Beautiful Woman to me period. :):waving::awesome::kiss:

As always, a pleasure to see you and share a little of your enthusiasm. Thanks for the shout out, see you next time.Hey Tom, it was Great seeing you as well. Thanks to you & Maryann for the Birthday Greetings Good Buddy.
As always one of My Favorite Highlights was checking out a whole lot of photo/videoshoots that went on inside as well as outside of the Hotel the day after the contest right before everyone heads home.
Even checking out Big Dave giving doing interviews for RX Muscle was Pretty Cool as well.
I've seen My Buddy Jeffery Sygo besides taking photos for RX Muscle, He was among the RX camera people that was shooting Dave's interview with the Athletes right after their victories, beating out the competition.
But beyond that Tom I've realised that during the times that I've attended the North Americans is that not just only Vascular Symmetrical Conditioning Rules, is that it's also a Pretty Good "Leg Show" meaning that the Women Bodybuilders, Fitness & Figure Women have to developed some serious Striated Sculpted Ripped Legs (with Vascular cuts & defintion) in order to place in the Top 5 or 6 or even winning their Weight (Bodybuilding) or Height (Fitness/Figure) Class, let alone winning the overalls come contest time.
But again Tom it was Great seeing you & I've appreciate your honest opinion when about what goes on within the sport of Bodybuilding, Fitness & Beyond My Friend. Looking forward to see you again at the next contest that I attend.:):respect::awesome::waving:

My apologies for missing this show, Chris. I had fully planned to attend, and even bring a local Cleveland guy I know from the Mercury Marauder club.
But, in the end, I had to stay in Michigan and do home repairs (winter comes early in Detroit!).
This was a great show (and, therefore, a horrible one to have missed).
I plan to be there in 2011, hopefully to see Sherri Gray take her Pro Card, if she decides to compete.
