HEY guys
Just a quick note...we are finally back to the hotel and both exhausted. I am SO thrilled and SO proud of Jennifer!!!!!!!!!

I was totally jumping up and down, and crying lol. :D

As soon as the overall was announced, I started freaking out and punching poor Billy Guns in the arm about 20 times. And then I grabbed his press pass off his neck and ran backstage to congratulate her. I was crying like a damn baby.

This was a great show... ALL of the class winners looked fantastic, and I want to say congrats and good job to all of the members of this board. Jennifer passes along a HUGE thanks to everyone for their support and encouragement. She'll be online eventually, but she's tired and overwhelmed and still needing to get herself ready for some stuff tomorrow.

I'm headed back home tomorrow, and I do have lots more pics, but I can't deal with them right now. I'll post them later when I get home and get settled.

This is Jennifer's night and I am so thrilled for her. :)

Ugh I am finally returning to reality as this weekend still seems like a dream (I am still on a sugar high though!). Truly I never imagined I could place so high in a National Level show, especially against the caliber of ladies who were there. Lisa looked incredible and I know that she is a force to be reckoned with...Mary looked great too as did Joy, I really was in shock when I ended up winning and I feel blessed that I shared the stag with these ladies.

My main hope is that more figure competitors decide to try their physiques on a bbing stage. Competing and getting ready for a show takes so much time and to have a chance to have the stage to yourself, showcase the physique you built, come in as hard as you can (and not be penalized...) it makes it all worth it.

I am not sure what the future holds for me in the NPC but I know that I can never leave bodybuilding...for now I am focusing on Team Universe in 2009. It was shocking to come in as a lightweight and I am very excited to share that class with woman like Vicki NIxon, Lori, Carla, Claire, Galina, well you all get the idea...hopefully I can make you all proud next year!

Lori, as I have said before, my thanks aren't enough...love you girl!
