Where is everyone planning on chowing down after the show??? Last year we went to Giordano's, so I'm thinking we should try a different spot this year!! Anyone have suggestions....??

We went to Gino's East. It's a short taxi ride from the hotel. BEST DEEP DISH EVER!!!!!!!!!

Giordano's was awesome last year!! That was my first Chicago style pizza experience! Maybe we will try Gino's East this year....hmmm.....I guess you can't really go wrong with either!! Anyone know if either place delivers?

Yea they were enormous!!! I had one breadstick, 2 slices of pizza....and ice cream for dessert. :rolleyes:

I work in the area... So, if you need any ideas let me know... There are a couple of Italian Restaurants... Carlucci's is at the Marriott Suites, Harry Caray's, Gino's East a block away from me, Giordiano's is right across the street from my office building, the RAM is next door to my office, Morton's and Capital Grille, amongst other places these are only about 5 minutes from the host hotel.

Lou Malnatis is the BEST deep dish but they don't deliver in rosemont

walker Brothers is AMAZING for breakfast food which is served all the the Apple Pancake is to die for!

if you are willing to wait for 2-3 hrs Kuma's Corner is the best burger i have ever had and is on a bun made of pretzel roll maybe 15-20 min from host open late late

if anyone is in the mood for mexican there is a place not far from the venue called Maria's. My husband and I have driven from Indy to Chicago just to eat there! we love it

there are some nacho's (I think I had to add beans here, can't remember) but the second time and third time we went :) I had those for my meal...soooo gooood, there is a white cheese sauce all over them...okay enough info for now lol

it's only about a mile from the hyatt

I just have to chime in here :) When it comes to Chicago Pizza, NOTHING touches Lou Malnatti's. Gino's is ok... Giordano's is better than ok, but Lou's is UNBELIEVEABLE!!

Burgers... KUMA's hands down. Went there last night as a matter of fact. Unbelieveable burger... "different" atmosphere, totally worth the trip.

There are a ton of restaurants by the hotel, most are decent (although kinda "chain-y"). You cannot go wrong with chicago pizza!

Good luck to all of the competitors, can't wait to see you all rock the stage in the BEST city in the USA :) (maybe I am biased though...LOL)

Nope. Waaay up north near Metric and Parmer. It was love at first sight ever since Suzanne first posted a pic of their apple pancake. I googled them and discovered that there's 1 location in Austin. I moved up north recently and lo and behold, there it was on my drive home from the gym. Been passing by it everyday...:drool3:

The last time I was up there I bought their dough and carried it home on my lap on the plane then made the pizza at my home in Nashville... the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life!

It's a PANNAKUKEN!!! WOW! My dad was born in Germany and has a thing for these. I made them for him on his birthday. He has only found 1 resturant in the states that makes them and it's in Chicago. They are SOOOO yummy!!
