I am soooo excited to be back on stage again! You are absolutely correct in that this was (and still is) a very long road back from that surgery. When I started my "prep" for this show, I had no idea how things would turn out, or if I would even make it to the stage and actually compete.....but here I am, feeling STRONG and READY to GO!!

What inspires you to use the hard core rock music in your routines?

Well, if you didn’t notice from the videos, the routine I’m using for Orlando is an “oldie” for me. It’s actually my first (and favorite!) routine I ever competed, (with a few changes of course!), so I’m really excited to get to do it again. I am one of the few competitors that doesn’t pick music based on a theme. I tend to just listen through A LOT of music and try to find things that I know I can perform well to, and that the crowd will get into. It always just so happens that its the rock songs that have the coolest musical parts for me to use! It seems to work for me…. Trust me, if I tried to do hip-hop dancing or something like that, you all would laugh me off the stage!
