NPC Motor City, Aug 9th

Hi there - I'm doing this show this year and it's the first time I'm traveling outside of the NYC area to compete. I have a question for anyone who has competed in in before (Amateur OR Pro, since they are both at this show) -

Is there an amateur's check-in or athlete check-in on Friday night? I am asking because I am trying to figure out my travel plans.

On the Michigan NPC site, this show has been removed. You should double check w/ the promoter to be sure that it's gtg.

Well, you were correct, the show (Central States MI NPC) has just this week been posted on the MI NPC website as August 9, apparently in conjunction w/ their IFBB show.
Adjust your planning girl.......
I had written to the promoter asking what was what as there were different dates/sources of info, got no reply, but like I said, the MI NPC site has been changed.
So, you have 14 weeks.......I think I am going to do the Natural in July instead.

Yup originally that show has been on our schedule with TWO different dates... actually I just got the schedule in the mail last Thursday and it NOW shows that show as August 2nd.

I know Nadine, met her at two shows last year, GREAT amateur physique right there! ;)

Nellie, there isn't a Friday night check in as far as I know... the pros have one and a meeting but I am pretty sure the amateurs don't, I helped out backstage last year :)

yeah Europa on the 15th but I have to take off like 2 days from work AND it's a friggin 4 hours trip! and who the hell wants to be in Dallas in AUGUST? (no offense TX people, I just hate humidity).

I'm pretty sure it's the Powerhouse Pro/Am. I checked the Michigan NPC site and it says it's now Aug 2nd on their calendar.
