Any surprises?

I am surprised that Melissa Pearo (http://www.musculardevelopment.com/browse/index.php?mode=browse&id=11356&eventcode=1238) placed 13th. She looks like top 10 to me. Just shows you what a tough show this was.

Yeah I would say there sure must have been TOUGH competition for her to place that, I think she looks great!

i'd have to agree...compared to the top 3, she was harder! for me....2-10 could have been in any order!!!! i thought they all looked great...i always wonder how much presentation and pre-show predictions come into play..u know!

I can email her and ask if she got any feedback from the judges. We were roomies at bootcamp one weekend (before she turned pro last year)- all I have to say is she is VERY impressive in person. And beautiful!

OK I heard back from her - she didn't mention the judges but said she would have preferred to be harder and leaner, bc that is the look that SHE prefers. So I guess she was still a little too hard, as Shelly said.

She was a little disappointed with her placing, hoping to get 7th or 8th.

Let's hope her hard work is recoginized at her next show!!

At least during the pro 1 piece the head judge, Weinburger (sp) , and the black guy with the shaved head were the only judges that seemed to be paying attention. I had just thought to myself I hope they pay more attention as the show goes on.

I've always loved Melissa's figure as well. She is very compact and impressive. But I do agree with Shelly. She appears to be a tad bit hard for what the direction figure is going. I also do not care for her color? Looks a bit too "gold'ish" along with her suit and shoes.

Hey guys, interesting to hear all of your ideas. Being backstage with these ladies was a real treat and seeing them all up close was neat. Jim and I both thought Catherine Anderson should of placed higher and Melissa did look good and should of placed higher too. Bernedette Glavin was looking much better than she placed also. Each day seems to bring something different, you just never know. Mo
