2008 NPC Nationals

The 2008 NPC Nationals are being held in Atlanta on November 21-22. I'm already looking forward to this contest. Information about the detailed schedule and the host hotel are already available here (note the banner still shows the 2007 label, but the information below is for 2008):

The Nats are always a huge contest. A couple of years ago in Miami the contest featured almost eighty female bodybuilders between the four classes. That's a lot of first-rate national-level muscle crowding the stage. Whohoo!

Yes, Atlanta is a fine city for sure. Plus it's previously played host to top bodybuilding contests, too. People have been encouraging me to write contest articles for years. Perhaps I'll write an article about the '08 Nats.

It is odd though how at Team U, class winners and runner ups will get pro cards, but at Nationals only class winners get pro cards.

Figure hasnt been with this one before... the FIGURE NATIONALS was on the same night as Team U, so thats why you saw top 2 there... FIGURE Nationals is now in November with Bodybuilding, FITNESS nationals that was previously in November is moving to the same weekend as Team U, and Team U now has Figure...can be kinda confusing LOL :)

As mentioned within another Siouxcountry forum thread LHW Britt Miller intends to compete at the Nats in Atlanta this November. And she definitely won't lack for company onstage as I've heard from several bodybuilders who plan to enter the big end-of-season contest.

It looks like you have the correct weekend in your signature. The event is the Friday/Saturday before the Thanksgiving holiday here in the US.

I noticed that in the ticker as well...but if you look at the calendar it's 13 weeks 5 days...or 4 days if pre-j is on Friday. Either way....can't wait to get there and get back on stage!!
