i think that Noel is too hard and muscular for Figure and the direction that the NPC is going. as IG said, I wouldn't get any harder and would really downplay the flexing or squeezing of the muscle when on stage. and definitely do not pump up before going on stage ! Good luck to you Noel !
have you ever thought of doing bodybuilding ?

yes, very interested to see the direction of figure this year....absolutely luv noel's physique, great round shoulders, tiny waist, awesome quad sweep, but will it be too much, we'll see!!! noel, you ROCK!!!

Here is the thing to that.....I think that in those pictures I am of course trying to show my trainer how lean I am...With that being said, I think a lot of what you see will be in my posing. I can flex or not flex and there is a big difference. I should take some shots of that and see what you think.

I think you will be just fine when you carb up. If your dryout is fairly weak, or if you don't do one at all, it may be best. Once you fill your muscles up you will look full and lovely!! Your lines are phenomenal. :respect:
Had to pop over and say 'looking good' again.
You're right where you want to be at this point.

Indeed.
Mind you, we don't do a carb up. We fat load. We also don't really cut water either. Rarely necessary when the rest of it is set up well from my experience.

OMG she totally doesn't need to cut ANYTHING! Gotcha on the fat loading. Same affect as carb load, no? The goal is to appear fuller on stage.

Similar effect in the sense of filling out yes; it just works better and is less hit or miss than carb loading.

Hi, yes that'd be me.
Great board! :waving:

I will for sure...just to show a difference. We always talk about presentation being so important. i think for me, I have to get lean and then work with what I have. You can play up things or play them down. I would rather not have to flex then have to kill myself up there YK?
If you weren't so nice I could totally hate you. :respect:
aww thanks so much!

In my eyes, not too hard or muscular at all! In my opinion the NPC direction does not mean , or at least it shouldnt mean, to be soft and have no muscles. OK basic structure there and condition looks good. Interesting to see you compared to others in contest. Good luck!
